A COATING THAT OUTLIVES THE CAR.

Our permanent ceramic coating bonds chemically to your clear coat instead of sitting on top of it, so it does not wash off, burn off, or wear away like wax. We bring the whole setup to your driveway and leave behind a mirror finish built for Carolina sun and coastal salt air.

  • Permanent bond, not a sacrificial layer
  • Certified NanoPros installer
  • Correction first, so nothing gets locked in
  • Applied in your driveway, we bring water and power

What coating clients actually say.

Verified Google reviews from Diamond Image Detail clients across Fayetteville and coastal NC.

★★★★★

The guys over at Diamond Image completely transformed my car. My BMW M4 had multiple layers of swirls and scratches. They not only were able to remove the scratches but give the car that showroom quality that you expect from a 5 star detailer. The 2 stage correction, ceramic coating as well as the PPF on my M4 was worth every dollar spent and I can absolutely say I made the right choice with them.

I super highly recommend this amazing company! When I returned to my vehicle it was as if it was brand new fresh out of the factory. They did a full ceramic job on my truck and even detailed my interior as well. Outstanding customer service and very good at what they do.

The honest comparison

Wax and sealant vs. a permanent coating.

Dull swirled paint on an uncoated hood

Wax or paint sealant

  • Sits on top of the paint as a soft layer
  • Breaks down with heat, detergent and rain
  • Needs reapplying every few months
  • Gloss fades between applications

Permanent ceramic coating

  • Bonds chemically to the clear coat
  • Does not wash off, burn off or wear away
  • Water sheets off and contaminants struggle to stick
  • Washing gets dramatically easier
How it works

What a coating day looks like.

Prep is most of the work. The coating itself is the last and quickest step.

01

Decontamination wash

Every panel is washed, chemically decontaminated and clay treated so the surface is genuinely clean before anything is polished.

02

Paint correction

Swirls and scratches are machine polished out under 6500K inspection lighting. A coating is clear, so whatever is left underneath gets magnified and locked in.

03

Coating application

The NanoPros system is applied panel by panel, levelled, and inspected under lighting before we move on.

04

Cure and inspection

The surface needs an undisturbed cure window before it is driven or washed. We walk you through aftercare and give you the exact schedule with your quote.

Straight answers

Questions we get asked most.

If yours is not here, call or text 910-322-2400.

How is ceramic coating different from wax or a paint sealant?

Wax and sealant sit on the surface as a soft layer and break down with heat, detergent and rain. A ceramic coating forms a hard, chemically bonded layer with the clear coat. The practical difference is that wax makes paint look good for a while, and a coating changes how the paint behaves permanently: water sheets off, contaminants struggle to stick, and washing gets dramatically easier.

Can you apply the coating at my house?

Yes. Diamond Image Detail is fully mobile. We arrive with our own water, power and inspection lighting and work in your driveway, carport, garage or office lot across Fayetteville, Hope Mills, Raeford, Spring Lake, Sanford, Southern Pines and Fort Liberty. A garage or covered space is ideal for the coating and cure stage, but it is not required. We plan around the weather.

Does a ceramic coating remove scratches and swirl marks?

No. A coating is clear, so it magnifies whatever is underneath it. Scratches and swirls have to be machine polished out first, which is why paint correction is part of the coating process rather than an upsell. Coating over defects locks them in permanently, and no reputable installer will do it.

How long does the job take?

It depends on the size of the vehicle and the condition of the paint. Prep and correction take the bulk of the time. The coating itself goes on quickly, and then the surface needs an undisturbed cure window before the car is driven or washed. We give you an exact schedule with your quote so you know what your day looks like.
